MASSIVE ATTACK 'PROTECTION' LP

Protection er det andet album fra trip hop-kollektivet Massive Attack fra Bristol. Udgivet i 1994, var det det sidste med Tricky som medlem af gruppen. Protection blev inkluderet i top ti på Rolling Stone-magasinets 'Coolest Albums of All Time List', der kaldte det "great music for when you're driving around a city at 4 am," på grund af albummets 'chill out'-natur. Som det meste af Massive Attacks musik trodser musikken ofte kategorisering, lige fra R&B til hip hop/rap til reggae-præget synthpop til klassisk-inspirerede elektroniske instrumentaler. Albummet følger strukturelt Blue Lines, så meget at skrifttypen på albummets cover er den samme.
