Es erwies sich als die erfolgreichste Veröffentlichung der Band und brachte vier Hitsingles hervor: "Nothin' but a Good Time", "Fallen Angel", "Your Mama Don't Dance" und ihre bisher einzige #1-Single "Every Rose Has It's Thorn". Das Album erreichte Platz 2 der US Billboard 200. Open Up And Say Ahh wurde 1988 mit Platin und 1991 von der RIAA mit 5-fach-Platin ausgezeichnet. Wir feiern das 30-jährige Jubiläum mit dieser speziellen Vinyl-Veröffentlichung.
