Lanzado originalmente en 2006, 'The Stench of Redemption' presenta 9 temas de brutal invectiva anticristiana respaldados por una ráfaga de blast beats y un riffing sombríamente directo. Grabado en el legendario meca del death metal, Morrisound Studios, Tampa, Florida. 'The Stench of Redemption' fue el primer disco de Deicide en incluir a los nuevos guitarristas Jack Owen (ex-Cannibal Corpse) y Ralph Santolla (ex-Iced Earth, exDeath), reemplazando a los hermanos Hoffman, que dejaron la banda enemistados en 2005.
