AFI revient avec Silver Bleeds the Black Sun..., leur douzième album et un nouveau chapitre audacieux dans leur évolution constante. Puisant dans leurs racines du death rock et de la post-punk de la fin des années 70 et du début des années 80, le groupe canalise des influences comme Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus et Siouxsie and the Banshees dans un son rêveur et éthéré. Sombre, irréel et grandiose, c'est indéniablement AFI, pourtant différent de tout ce qu'ils ont fait auparavant.
