Into the Pandemonium è il secondo dei due album che hanno definito il genere dei Celtic Frost, pubblicati negli anni '80. Dopo il più thrash To Mega Therion, Pandemonium è una netta svolta musicale che si avventura in stili industrial, doom e altre bizzarre sonorità metal mai combinate prima in questo modo. Si apre con una cover sorprendentemente ben fatta di "Mexican Radio" dei new wave di Los Angeles Wall of Voodoo, e Tom G. Warrior e compagni diventano solo più oscuri, cupi e pesanti man mano che il disco prosegue.
