Il Foo Fighters doppio album In Your Honor (2005) segna anche il loro decimo anniversario come band. Il primo album del set di 21 tracce in 2 LP più che soddisfa la dichiarazione d'intenti di Dave Grohl di essere "la cosa più spacca-tutto che abbiamo mai fatto", regalando un Foo Fighters barnstormer dopo l'altro con la title track, "Best Of You," "DOA," "Resolve" e "No Way Back." La seconda metà, in contrasto, mostra il lato sensibile della band che ha reso successi dormienti le versioni acustiche di "Everlong" e "Times Like These" con i brani dinamici "What If I Do," "Miracle" e "Virginia Moon."
