Begonnen als een slaapkamersoloproject in Philadelphia in 2010, heeft de muziek van Nothing altijd de volledige omvang van de menselijke conditie vastgelegd, zowel de loeiende woede als de fluisterende droefheid. A Short History of Decay, het vijfde soloalbum van Nothing en het eerste voor Run For Cover Records, verbreedt dat perspectief nog verder en biedt de meest haarscherpe weergave van Nothing tot nu toe. De band heeft nog nooit zo kolossaal geklonken, nog nooit zo intiem gevoeld, nog nooit zo eerlijk geweest.
