Albumet hadde fire singler: «Survival of the Fittest», «Temperature's Rising», «Give Up the Goods (Just Step)» og den mest suksessrike «Shook Ones, Pt. II». Albumet ble sertifisert platina og var kjent for å ha stor innflytelse fra østkysten.
