Since their inception, Touche Amore has been touring relentlessly, playing their brand of emotional hardcore/punk everywhere from dingy basements to sprawling arenas. While traveling in the UK in 2013, they were invited to record at the legendary BBC Studios for "The Punk Show" with host Mike Davies for a second time (the band released their "Live On BBC Radio 1 Vol. 1" in 2012 on Deathwish). Touche Amore "Live On BBC Radio 1 Vol. 2" offers heartfelt renditions of recent "Is Survived By" anthems "Just Exist," "Harbor" and "Non Fiction," as well as "Gravity, Metaphorically," originally on their split with Pianos Become The Teeth.

Eli ★★★★★

The pressing sounds fantastic — you can hear the room echo on the vocals during the quieter parts, which fits the live BBC session vibe perfectly. Side A alone is worth it for how tight the drums come through.

Lucy N. ★★★★★

That 2013 UK session captures the raw live energy I've been chasing since the basement days. The recording is crisp enough to hear every strained vocal, and the 7" pressing sounds great on my turntable.

Hannah ★★★★★

The B-side on this is the reason to own it — that version of the closer sounds rawer than the studio cut. Pressing came out clean too, dead flat with no surface noise on my copy.
