起源於 2010 年費城的一人臥室計畫，Nothing 的音樂始終捕捉人類處境的完整樣貌，從熾烈的憤怒到低語的哀傷。《A Short History of Decay》是 Nothing 的第五張錄音室專輯，也是他們在 Run For Cover Records 的首張作品，進一步拓寬了視野，呈現出 Nothing 迄今最清晰的描繪。樂團從未如此宏偉，從未如此親密，也從未如此誠實。
